PhimThai - Thai Phonetic Keyboard

            Summary: PhimThai works entirely offline and collects no data.
            We have no servers and no way to see what you type.
            
            All platforms (macOS, iOS, Android): Typed text is processed locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any typed text.

Local Storage

PhimThai stores the following on your device only:

macOS: Preferences and onboarding state in the companion app. No typed text is stored.
iOS and Android: Daily word count for the free tier limit. Premium status verified through the App Store/Play Store.

This data never leaves your device. To reset it, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Local Processing

macOS: Typed text is processed locally by the input method. PhimThai does not transmit typed text to any server or service.

iOS: PhimThai does not request "Full Access", so it cannot access the internet or other apps' data.

Android: PhimThai only requests standard keyboard permissions. No internet, location, or contacts access.

No Account, Analytics, or Tracking

macOS: The PhimThai companion app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The macOS beta has no license activation or in-app purchases.

iOS and Android: No analytics, advertising, or tracking beyond what is required by the App Store and Play Store for premium purchases.

Installer (macOS)

The macOS installer uses the standard macOS Installer and may request administrator authorization to install the input method system-wide. PhimThai never receives or stores your administrator password.

In-App Purchases

Premium purchases on iOS and Android are processed by Apple or Google. We don't have access to your payment information. See Apple's or Google's privacy policies for details.

macOS: No in-app purchases or license activation during the beta.

Children's Privacy

PhimThai is suitable for all ages and complies with COPPA by not collecting any information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date and notify users through app updates.
